Luggage: Trains start at the terminals, so you can usually board early and get a seat with your cases. Avoid the weekday 16:30–18:30 peak heading into town.

Quietest: From Terminal 5, aim for around 14:00 for the calmest run into central London.

Useful stops: Paddington, Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road, Liverpool Street, Canary Wharf — all reachable without changing onto the Tube.
