About
About this site
Elizabeth Line Guide is an independent reference for London’s Elizabeth line, built to answer the questions people actually search for - is it running, when’s the last train, how do I get to Heathrow - faster than official sources.
Everything time-critical is real data, not copy: line status and departures are live from TfL, timetables and first & last trains come from the national rail timetable feed and refresh weekly, and quiet times use TfL’s measured station demand. Where a page uses editorial judgement instead (best exits, station tips), it says so.
It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Transport for London, National Rail or the Rail Delivery Group. For anything safety-critical or on the day of travel, the live status and station boards are authoritative.
Data & sources
Line status, departures and station demand are live or measured TfL data. Timetables and first & last trains come from the national rail timetable feed (Rail Delivery Group), refreshed weekly. Exits, attractions and station tips are curated editorial data.
- TfL Unified API (live line status & departures)
- TfL crowding data (measured typical & live station demand)
- National Rail timetable feed (exact schedules, first & last trains)
- TfL Stop Structure API (entrances, exits, lifts) - planned
- National Rail Darwin (live train loading) - planned
Quiet times use TfL’s measured demand for the central stations and big interchanges; smaller stations use a documented estimate. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Transport for London. Map and design are original; this is not the official TfL map or roundel.
