The line at a glance
The Elizabeth line runs 41 stations across five sections: the central tunnels from Paddington to Whitechapel (zones 1–2), the Heathrow branch (zone 6, ending at Terminals 2&3, 4 and 5), the western surface route out to Reading (leaving the zones beyond West Drayton), the Abbey Wood branch via Canary Wharf and Woolwich (zones 2–4), and the Shenfield branch via Stratford, Ilford and Romford (zones 3–6 and beyond).
Every station is step-free from street to train. Fares use standard TfL zones inside London; Reading-branch stations beyond the zones have their own National Rail fares.
